This article walks through how best to manage banners and course cards in Canvas courses.

Banners

When adding banner(s) to courses in Canvas, use image options to make the necessary adjustments. If using text in banners not written on the page, add alt text necessary for screen readers. You can use the Immersive Reader found in upper-right of Canvas pages to verify text that will be read aloud.

Adding Course Card Image

To add your course card image click Settings from the course nav and click Choose Image.
