Quiz Guidelines to Share with Students

Example 1 Guidelines

The following guidelines will help you be successful when taking this quiz:

  • Before you take the quiz, make arrangements to use a reliable computer with uninterrupted internet access. If you use a wireless connection to the internet, and that connection is interrupted, you may not be able to submit your quiz.

  • If you try to take the quiz using a mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet), you may have problems submitting your answers. It is best if you take the quiz using a computer.

  • After you submit the quiz, you should carefully read your results. You may access your quiz results at any time by using the Grades link in the main course menu.

  • Please do not share the questions or correct answers with your classmates. Doing so will keep them from learning the material and doing well in the course.

  • If you experience any technical issues while taking the quiz, you should contact the Boise State Help Desk for assistance.

Example 2 Guidelines

The following guidelines will help you be successful when taking this quiz:

  • All quizzes must be submitted by the due date.

    • Before you take the quiz, make arrangements to use a reliable computer with uninterrupted internet access. If you use a wireless connection to the internet, and that connection is interrupted, you may not be able to submit your quiz.

    • If you try to take the quiz using a mobile device (for example, a smartphone or tablet), you may have problems submitting your answers. Always take your quizzes using a computer.

    • If you have a technical problem or suspect a technical difficulty may occur, be sure to start your quiz well before the Boise State Help Desk is closed for the evening. As communicated in the syllabus, you are responsible for having a backup plan.

    • You may access your quiz results after the due date using the Grades link in the main course menu.

    • If you do not do well on a quiz, you should check your results and consider how well your study strategies have worked to help you learn the course content. Then select one or more new study strategies that may be more effective and efficient ways to learn the material.
