Bumpers

Bumpers refer to the branded clip placed at the end of videos. It is our team’s practice to add these to the end of videos so viewers don’t get sick of rewatching the same opening for every video and can get straight to the content.

• Course Intro is the exception where bumper could be added to start and end of video

Time Estimates

• 1st draft: 4+ hrs

• Each revision round: 1+ hrs

Best Practices

• Use brand standards (see https://boisestateecampus.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EKB/pages/593756161 )

• Generic for use across multiple courses within a given program

• Should be cohesive with the program banner template and other graphic elements

  • See Course Specs for this info including bumper currently used

• Program bumpers are stored in the eCampusvideo Shared Bumpers folder

• Add only to end of videos using the Panopto editor ‘Add Clip’ method

• For programs without bumpers the Boise State bumper is used
