Embedding H5P In Canvas

The following article walks you through embedding H5P modules into Canvas from Pressbooks.

Step 1: Find the Embed Code

Locate the H5P activity you’d like to embed and click <>Embed located at the bottom of the activity

Don't see the <>Embed button?

If you don’t see the <>Embed option you can access the embed code by editing the H5P activity display options:

• Go into the H5P activity editor

• Find the activity, and look for the Display Options box

Open

• Click the checkmark next to the Display Embed Button option and click Save

• You should now see the <> Embed button at the bottom of the activity

Step 2: Open Canvas HTML Editor

In edit mode in Canvas, click the HTML editor icon to change the viewing mode for adding HTML code

Step 3: Paste Embed Code

Paste your copied H5P embed code where you want the activity and click Save
